Licensing
Your install. Your data. Your brand.
No price list here, on purpose: every setup is different. This page explains the model, so the demo can be about you.
How does niftiOS licensing work?
The short answerEach licensee gets its own niftiOS install with its own database, branded as their business. There is a one-time setup (brand, supplier connections, content) and an ongoing license for running and updating the system. We scope both with you after a demo.
What drives the cost?
- Setup: your brand, domain, pages and content.
- Supplier connections: how many suppliers, and whether a connection already exists.
- License: ongoing use, hosting and updates.
- Extras: countries, currencies, cover tiers and partner tools you switch on.
How much does car rental booking software cost?
Across the market it ranges widely. Some tools for small fleets publish monthly plans; systems for brokers and larger travel companies are usually quoted per project. The bigger cost is often time: supplier contracts, content and testing.
What pricing models exist?
Per vehicle, flat monthly, a license with setup fee, or a share of revenue. Each shifts risk differently between you and the vendor. Ask which one you're on, and what happens to your data if you leave.
Who owns the customer data?
With niftiOS, you do. One install per licensee, one database per install, never pooled with anyone else's.
What should I ask any vendor before signing?
- Who owns my customer and booking data, and can I export it?
- Which suppliers are already connected, and what does a new connection take?
- Who is the merchant of record, and which payment provider is used?
- How are cover options and local wording handled?
- What is included in the license, and what costs extra?
- What happens when I want to leave?
