Full to full
Also called full-to-full fuel policy
The short answerFuel policy where you pick up with a full tank and return it full; if it isn't full, the rental company refuels it and charges you.
What it means
Full to full is a fuel policy: the car starts with a full tank and you return it full. If it comes back with less, the rental company refuels it and charges for the fuel, usually plus a service fee and at its own per-liter or per-gallon rate.
Why it matters
It's usually the simplest policy to plan around because you only pay for the fuel you use. Keep the receipt from a station near the return location in case the level is questioned.
